With great pride, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and the Equality in Energy Transitions partners with Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) to present one of the energy industry's most prestigious awards programs.

The Equality in Energy Transitions Initiative (EETI) Awards celebrate women and organizations from around the world making an impact through leadership, innovation, and commitment across the energy sector, including industry, academia, advocacy, NGOs, government, and research. This year’s awards include three categories: the Woman of Distinction Award, the Organizational Leadership Award, and the Emerging Leader Award, celebrating a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and career stages.

The Equality Initiative Ambassadors Program is officially accepting nominations for its next cohort of exceptional leaders dedicated to advancing gender equality in the clean energy sector. The "Implementing Inclusivity Framework" Unveiled

At the 15th Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM15) and the 9th Mission Innovation Meeting (MI-9), the Equality in Energy Transitions Initiative made a major leap toward a more inclusive, diverse, and equitable energy future with the launch of the Implementing Inclusivity Framework. This Framework, endorsed by the Mission Innovation's Inclusivity Catalyst, highlights the vital role that women, youth, and underrepresented groups play in driving the transition to clean energy and encourages all members to embed the gender, equality, inclusivity, and diversity (GEDI) principles across their work and programs.
